Where the work happens
QWRKhouse began as an exploration — of methods, of materials, of what a small studio could make with the tools available to it. That exploration evolved into something more focused: the self-production of furniture pieces that are genuinely difficult to make any other way.
Why 3D printing
3D printing makes forms possible that would otherwise be extremely difficult or impossible to produce at small scale. Structures that are hollow where they need to be, surfaces that curve in multiple directions at once, geometries that a mould or a mill would struggle with — these become achievable. For a small studio working without a factory, it fundamentally expands what is possible.
We use Canadian PLA — a lightweight, durable material with a semi-matte finish that holds colour well and is suited to the demands of everyday furniture use.
We are based in British Columbia, Canada.
Made to order
Every QWRKhouse piece is made specifically for the person who orders it. There is no warehouse, no surplus, no guessing at demand. You choose your colour, we make your piece. Production takes approximately 2–3 weeks, and we ship it directly to you from our studio.
This is how we keep the work honest.
